Pedro Santos Gomes was appointed as a new partner at askblue, a Portuguese technology and business consulting company, becoming responsible for the Financial Services and Insurance markets, as well as a member of the Executive Board of the company.
At askblue since 2021, where he assumed the role of Head of the Financial Services Industry, Pedro Santos Gomes has more than 30 years of experience in digital transformation, consulting, IT/Digital, and business management.

Due to the path he has followed and the experience he shares with the teams, we are sure that Pedro Santos Gomes is the right person to join the group of partners and the Executive Board, as well as lead the new Financial Services and Insurance market area of askblue”, says the company’s CEO, Pedro Nicolau.
Pedro Santos Gomes has a degree and a master’s degree in electrical and computer engineering (Instituto Superior Técnico). Later, he completed a postgraduate course in the Advanced Program in Management for Financial Sector Executives (Universidade Católica Portuguesa). His professional career began at Instituto Superior Técnico, later moving to Accenture, Capgemini, Novabase, and the Opway Group. Before joining askblue, he was Director of Systems and Information at CTT.
“Pedro Santos Gomes has consolidated experience in defining and implementing digital/IT transformation and strategy programs for companies and business areas, both as a director and as a consultant. In addition, his career covers transformation and turn-around of business units and companies, offer definition, market development and sales, project development, strategic planning, and financial control”, says Pedro Nicolau.
Pedro Santos Gomes joins Pedro Nicolau, Ana Rosado, Miguel Freire, and Paulo Nunes on askblue’s Executive Board.
Recently, the company completed ten years and presented the results of 2022 with 19.8 million euros of revenue, an annual growth of 20%.
